The production operations of Edgetech I.G., Cambridge, Ohio, have been certified to the ISO 9001:2000 International Quality Standard, according to a July 23 company release. Edgetech's quality system for the manufacture of Super Spacer products was audited and certified effective July 3, 2008.
ISO 9001:2000 is a set of standardized requirements of the International Organization for Standardization, Switzerland, that take a systematic approach to managing an organization's processes so that they consistently manufacture products that satisfy customer expectations. Edgetech was assessed and approved by Smithers Quality Assessments Inc., Akron, Ohio.
